We built Mr. Spotless Cleaning while working regular jobs. Jonathan started by knocking on doors and handing out flyers and business cards.
One customer at a time, the company grew through Thumbtack, Google, referrals, and the relationships we built with customers and property managers. Today we clean offices, schools, churches, stores, apartment buildings, and homes in all five boroughs of New York City.
We bring our own cleaning supplies, we're fully insured, and we work with background-checked workers. We treat every home and property with care. Before we start, we walk through with you to understand your priorities. When we finish, we walk through again so you can review the work.
We're growing our recurring commercial work while continuing to serve the residential customers who helped build this company.

We've cleaned multiple apartments across property management buildings in a single week. When a manager needed extra help because another housekeeper was unavailable, we worked with them to add apartments and kept them updated on everything we completed.
During one apartment visit, a loose, barking dog made it unsafe to continue. We told the property manager and coordinated a return when the dog would be out. We want to do the work, but conditions have to be safe for everyone.
After a deep clean, a customer raised a concern about stubborn grease. We listened and offered to return for a touch-up. Customers should feel comfortable telling us when something needs another look.
