How Mr. Spotless Cleaning Inc. ("we"), based in Queens, New York, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit mrspotlesscleaning.nyc (the "Site"), request a quote, apply for a job, call or text us, or use our services.

1. Information we collect

What you give us by form, phone, text, or email: name, phone, email, ZIP code; for businesses, company and type of space; job details (service, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, frequency, timing, date, notes); for job applications, position, availability, experience, and message; anything else you write. Please don't send Social Security, bank or card numbers, or health information through the Site.

Collected automatically: our providers may collect IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location, through cookies and similar technologies (section 5).

From others: if you reach us through Google or Thumbtack, we receive what you shared there.

2. How we use information

To respond and quote; to schedule, perform, and follow up on cleaning, including reminders; to call, text, and email you about your request (section 4); to review job applications; to improve the Site; to keep required records, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We share it only with service providers that may use it only to serve us: forms (quote, contact and job-application forms): Formspree; email: Google (Gmail); phone calls and text messages: our business phone and messaging provider; website hosting: Replit; analytics: Google Analytics 4; embedded content: Google Maps and the Elfsight Google-reviews widget.

When you ask us to (for example, coordinating access with your building or property manager). For legal reasons (law, court order, or to protect rights and safety). In a business transfer, where the new owner must honor this policy.

4. Text messages (SMS) and calls

Mr. Spotless Cleaning texts about your quote, appointment, and service. Consent: we text you only if you give us your number and agree on our form, or text us first. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop texts (or opt out any other reasonable way); we honor it within 10 business days at most and may send one final confirmation text. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at (646) 691-6581 or mr.spotlesscleaninginc@gmail.com.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or text-messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing; it is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

Essential technologies that make the Site and forms work (e.g. spam protection). Analytics: Google Analytics 4 measures how visitors use the Site; opt out with Google's add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Embedded content: Google Maps and the Elfsight reviews widget may set their own cookies and receive your IP address and browser information under their own policies. We do not use ad pixels or ad-retargeting tags on the Site. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

Do Not Track: there is no common standard for responding to browser Do Not Track signals, and the Site does not currently change its behavior in response to them. Third parties named above, such as Google and Elfsight, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.

6. Email

We email you about your request and service. Any marketing email will include an unsubscribe link and our mailing address; we honor unsubscribes within 10 business days.

7. How long we keep information

We keep quote requests, job applications, and customer records only as long as needed for the purposes above, or longer where the law requires (e.g. tax records). Analytics data follows our Google Analytics retention setting. Then we delete, destroy, or anonymize it.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards for a business of our size: HTTPS on the Site, access limited to people who need it, password-protected accounts, and secure disposal of old records. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you and required agencies as the law requires.

9. Your choices and requests

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we have about you, to correct it, to delete it (except what we must keep for legal, tax, or contract reasons), or to stop marketing texts or emails. We won't treat you differently for asking.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is meant for adults and not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information; if a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Other sites we link to (Google, Thumbtack, Instagram) follow their own policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We'll post any new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes we'll give more prominent notice and, where required, ask for consent.

13. New York residents

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for private information, appropriate to our size and the sensitivity of the information, as New York's SHIELD Act requires. If a breach involves your private information, we will notify you within 30 days of discovering it (unless law enforcement asks us to wait) and will notify the New York Attorney General, Department of State, and State Police as the law requires.
